if you have a save file from the pre jam version you need to deleted it because otherwise the new version will break

COMBO SYSTEM:

the combo system allows you to shoot multiple times in a row to initiate a finisher. The finisher can be timed until its almost gone to deal the most damage possible.

ABILITIES:

press esc to open the menu and go to the abilities tab. Here you can equip and unequip your abilities. To activate them you need a certain amount of Tech points (in the bottom right corner) these are always as high as your level is. Activating an ability decreases your points and deactivating increases them.

there are three different kind of abilities right now:

- combo +    - raises your combo by one

- combo -     - lowers your combo by one

- finisher of the wanderer     - your finisher damage scales with the amount of memory gears you have.

What is AWA ?

A World Abandoned is a metroidvania / recursive sprawler with a focus on exploration and character progression / build diversity. You play as an android named Unit 148 and are sent to an abandoned planet that is torn in half. Your mission is to find the last living human. But things aren't how they seem at first and maybe you will find out who and where you really are.

Spring Cleaning Jam Info

This game has been in development since august 2020, so please keep that in mind

this version of the game includes just a small starting area but you can access all the content that is in the game if you input the Konami code in the main menu: up , up, down, down , left, right, left, right, B, A, (works on keyboard and controller) BUT BE WARNED OF SPOILERS FOR THE FULL GAME 

stuff I want to accomplish during the jam:

- at least one more enemy

- more if there is enough time

- some writing and world building (can't show it because of obvious reasons , just believe me pls)

- yeah that's it , the combo system took surprisingly long to implement and the abilities where also really tricky to do. 

I changed some other stuff that I wont mention here because no one is going to notice anyways , also did some bug fixes.
