new weapons, metal scrap and effects


I made a lot of progress  in the last few days , so there is a lot of progress I can share . 

First I finished work on the hover jump ( burst jump ). It wasn't working how I wanted it to , so I changed a few things , like that it has now a light delay before the start but when you release the jump button you can double jump immediately. I also added a few particles to make it feel nice . 

After that I began work on a feature someone on reddit suggested  - metal scrap . When you kill an enemy now it will explode and all the metal parts will fall of . They have physics and collisions , so you are able to toss them around. And yes I did play around with this silly feature a way too long time .


So now to the big update :

There are now three new weapons , each with its own unique quirks . 

- The laser :


The laser pierces trough enemies and walls . A charged shot poisons enemies.

- The Bomb:


the bomb projectile has gravity but does a lot of damage. 

-  the lightning blaster


the lightning blaster travels slightly upwards and does damage multiple times on a single enemy. The charged variant does no damage at all , but stuns enemies for a few seconds


I also added a few new effects:

- when shooting a bullet 

- a trail behind the bullet

- a splash when entering water


The last thing I did was to redo the behavior of the runner enemy . It is now a lot more aggressive and isn't as easily cheesable.
